ABOUT US + FAQ
What is Ghost Printing LLC.?
Ghost Printing LLC. (aka Ghost Printing Publishing) is an independent publishing company based in Washington state. Our niche focus is on mixed media work. We are proud to be family-owned and women-led.
What makes a work mixed media?
Mixed media works combine two or more forms of media. It is not limited to a single genre. An example is this video, combining 2d animation with footage shot in the real world. We are searching for work that uses mixed media as a tool to enhance its meaning.
Why the name "Ghost Printing"?
A "ghost print" refers to a technical error in the printing process that creates the same print twice, making the final product appear ghostly. As a big fan of printed ephemera and ghosts, we felt that this was the perfect name for us.
I'm a mixed media creator. How can I send you my work?
Please email our team at hello@ghostprintingpublishing.com
Do I have to live in Washington state to work with you?
Not at all. We are open to any authors living across the globe. Regardless of demographic or genre, we want to uplift all voices who love and create mixed media work.
Do I need to have representation to work with you or pay a fee?
Never. Our priority is to make publishing as accessible as possible for underrepresented creatives.
OUR TEAM
Madison Toranne Nikfard
Founder & Director
Madison Toranne Nikfard is a passionate writer & artist with a lifelong love for mixed media work. She grew up in her family's printshop, watching all sorts of ephemera being created, printed, & distributed. This led to an interest in bringing her own creative works to life through writing & art.
“When I was a young writer, I did my best to find and pursue opportunities where I could be published without many resources. No one in my family had ever written a book, so I was completely in the dark & on my own. Ultimately, I gravitated towards self-publishing. It was most accessible to me then to enter the industry by becoming a self-starter.
I ended up learning so much about the publication process that I felt inspired to share what I learned with fellow creatives. That idea sparked Ghost Printing.”
