In the Summer of 2005, on the wooden floor of her childhood home, an earlier version of Miss Madison was busy dreaming. She had just finished reading the last book on her bookshelf, and her family's trip to the library wouldn't happen for another week, so she was in desperate need of reading material. Spiral notebook in one hand, and blue ballpoint pen in the other, Miss Madison started writing her own stories to read. She wrote about haunted houses, curly-haired characters, first loves, everything and anything that interested her. Miss Madison found herself having so much fun writing that she never stopped, and after years of editing, learning, and self-publishing, Ghost Printing was born in the summer of 2023.

Ghost Printing is home to all kinds of literature and art. Our goal is to be a platform for non-traditional, multi-media works that don't always make it to bookstore shelves. We like the unpredictable, untamed, and even uncomfortable world of writing, and we're here to share more stories from this space.

We are proud to be a woman-owned company based in Seattle, Washington. Our team is currently tiny, but as we continue to grow in size, we hope to expand our home to more books by authors from all over the world.
