Madison Toranne Nikfard
Authortist & Founder
Madison Toranne Nikfard was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Writing & art are her greatest loves in life, after her dogs & her partner, Weston. Younger Madison spent most of her time outside of school filling spiral notebooks with stories of powerful, curly-haired women. Some of these stories surfaced through her self-publishing efforts. Her most well known title is DUDE, a YA fiction novel exploring the mental toll that high school takes on young women. As a mixed-heritage daughter, she was drawn to mixed media work from her earliest years. The combination of mediums not only fulfills a personal aesthetic, it helps her to explore the beauty & complexity of her identity. Madison hopes to create works her younger-self could see herself in.
Madison's favorite mixed media work is the web series Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. Her first zine will be available September 2025, with more titles to follow in the coming months.
